Welcome
First Christian Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, hear God's Word, be a part of the powerful praise and worship, and get involved in our tight-knit community of members, With the Holy Spirit in regular attendance, you can discover your gifts and use them for God's glory.
Our Location
First Christian Church is located in historic Trinidad, Colorado. We're at 200 South Walnut one block up from Rino's Restaurant.
Parking
The lot on the south side of the church is open for parking, but its limited size means it fills quickly. There is plenty of additional parking on Walnut and First streets surrounding the church. The church is on a hill, so expect steps and/or inclines while walking to and from your car.

What To Expect
Our services are open to everyone and everyone is welcome. That means you! You'll find a hometown atmosphere with plenty of smiles, hugs, and conversation. The Biblical teaching and great music will keep you coming back.
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages starting at 9:30am. Adults, teens, and the younger children will enjoy age appropriate lessons in their own classrooms. Our children's classes are led by our Children's Ministry staff.
Our Sunday Worship Service begins at 10:30 am and lasts until a little after 12.
Our worship team performs primarily contemporary Christian songs with a mix of songs written by our worship team members and an occasional hymn. Following music, learn from Scripture through a message from Pastor Cary Nelson or one of our Associate Pastors.
Children's Church is provided during our Worship Service for Kindergarten through 5th grade. A biblical lesson will encourage and enrich your child.
Our nursery is also available during the service for ages 0 to 5 years where children enjoy a lesson intended for their age group.
A children's check-in station is available to protect your child and ensure his or her safe return.
Wednesday evening services start at 7 pm with a praise and worship session, breaking up afterwards for the adult and youth classes. The adult Bible Study provides a more in-depth discussion of the Word and ends around 8:15. Our youth class takes place in our large basement, followed by games and snacks. Youth wraps up between 9 and 9:30 pm, but don't worry about leaving early for bedtime.
