Storming Heaven

If it belongs to Jesus, it belongs to you.

This morning we were asked to picture Jesus seated at the Father’s right hand—and then to see ourselves seated there with Him. From that place the Father is pleased to give us the kingdom. The question is not whether God wants to give it. The question is how badly we want it.

Matthew 11:12 says the kingdom of heaven has been taken by storm, and those who take it by storm seize it as a prize. We look at the Canaanite woman who would not take “you can’t have that” for an answer, blind Bartimaeus who shouted louder when they told him to be quiet, and the friends who tore the roof off to get a paralyzed man in front of Jesus. They pressed in. They refused the fringes. They received.

Don’t let anyone tell you that what God promised in His Word is not for you. Press in until you have it.
